The Wacky Racers Concept Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1968). The Wacky Racers was inspired by the movie The Great Race.
This show had 23 characters and 11 different cars competing in two races each week. This is the original concept artwork for the cars by longtime Hanna-Barbera character development and layout artist, the great Jerry Eisenberg. Nine pages in colored marker on paper of various sizes, with minor handling and edge wear, and some staining. Nine pages, many labeled “Wacky Racers Development”. Each one is signed “Jerry” or “Jerry Eisenberg”. The show premiered on 9/14/68 on CBS and is a longtime fan favorite, and this is a lot of H-B history.
