Bob Singer Magilla Gorilla “Drawings From A Master” Series Painting Original Art (Hanna-Barbera, 2004). “How much is that gorilla in the window?” We’ve got a gorilla for sale… a Magilla Gorilla for sale. This original art one-of-a-kind mixed media painting of Magilla Gorilla, with his pal Ogee, is by master Hanna-Barbera Animator and Artist, Mr. Bob Singer. He worked at H-B for over 25 years and headed up their Character Design Group, and also headed up Departments in storyboard, as well as Publicity. Mr. Singer has worked on virtually every classic Hanna-Barbera Show from the 1960s to the 1980s. This painting is on Somerset Rag acid free art paper, with deckled edges, and is floated in a Plexiglas front 20.5″ x 17.5″ frame. The paper is 12″ x 10″ and the figures are 3″ and 5″ tall. This piece is hand-signed by Bob Singer, who has also dedicated the mat in the frame.
